camping fees - $10- $14
Suppossedly groceries & giftware too.
Pleasant campground. Was concerned about road noise, but it was surprisingly quiet at night. Sites are often pretty closely packed, and there's a fair bit of variation in site quality. It wasn't an issue for us during the week in October, as the campgrounds was well below half full, but I imagine it's a different beast on peak weekends.
Good looking bike path into town behind the campground - made us wish we had bikes!
Wonderful campground just off the north end of the Mighty Mac. Electric at level gravel pad. Clean latrine; nice private showers. We thought the camp fee was pricey especially when you add in the required Michigan Recreation Pass but this site was worth it. Grocery and Family Dollar within walking distance. Traverse City attractions and ferries to Mackinac Island within a few miles. Nice dump station! We loved it here!
