“Magnificent 4 star hotel”
In the heart of "Blues City," you'll find The Peabody Memphis, a magnificent Forbes Four-Star, AAA Four-Diamond historic Memphis hotel. Our convenient downtown location is within a short walking distance from Memphis attractions like Beale Street, the Memphis Rock N Soul Museum, Fed-Ex Forum, National Civil Rights Museum, Sun Studio, Orpheum Theatre, and the Renasant Center. The Peabody itself is also one of Memphis' most popular attractions. The Peabody Ducks march to and from the Grand Lobby daily at 11 am and 5 pm in a time-honored tradition dating back to 1933. Legendary, charming, elegant, and grand are adjectives that perfectly describe this luxury Memphis hotel. Whether visiting for business or leisure, our Southern hospitality is sure to exceed your expectations. Don't miss visiting the "South's Grand hotel." Open 24 hours a day
We had a great stay. The rooms were lovely, lobby great for a cocktail or dessert, nice breakfast. We had our two toddlers and dog with us. The kids loved the ducks and our dog was happy resting in the room. Not an inexpensive stay but worth it.
saw the ducks!
Even if you don't stay here, definitely stop by to see the Peabody Ducks, a team of the hotel’s ducks that waddle through the main lobby once a day. This attraction is a must-watch, as these ducks look like they are walking on the red carpet.
We think this is one of the best things to do in Memphis!
It was worth a visit to see the duck parade, but I probably would not prioritize it for a future visit unless I had younger kids with me. Once you've seen it, you've seen it.
Stayed here for two evenings during our honeymoon excursion and absolutely loved it.
Great stay. Staff is excellent and there are so many beautiful and historic places in the hotel. The main level piano area was so peaceful. We stayed in the Concierge area and the breakfast offerings were great. We missed the evening drinks and appetizers. The drinks at the bar were superb. We only had appetizers but they were excellent. Then we went to the piano area for dessert. Wonderful...Wonderful!
A very bizarre but adorable tradition, the hotel lobby is also beautiful and worth looking at anyway.
We didn't stay at the Peabody but instead just walked in to watch the ducks come down the red carpet! It took all of 10 minutes, so it was a quick stop, but adorable and fun to watch.
Loved this hotel! Great location, beautiful, and quirky. Where else can you see ducks in an elevator. Drinks were very good at the bar too.
We had a great stay! Service was wonderful, the room are well decorated and comfy.
