“A Lake of Enchantment!”
This reservoir on the Canadian River is one of the longest lakes in the state at nearly 13 miles, and boasts a variety of fun water sports. The campgrounds offer a variety of camping experiences, including the Yucca Campground, designed for RVs. One of the best ways to experience a state park is is by camping under the stars. Different camping opportunities are available and whether you like to roll out your sleeping bag or curl up in your RV, state parks has it all. With lakes and rivers, New Mexico is the place to find your adventure whether it be motorboating, sailing, kayaking, rafting or canoeing. There are many State Parks that allow you to swim. Make sure to call the park directly for changes in designated waters and seasonal closures. We do not recommend cliff diving as New Mexico's terrain is very rocky in and out of water. Please remember to always where your life jackets!
Quiet, cheap, option for "deluxe" campsites with water and electricity and grill if you want it. Note that plugging the address here into Google maps takes you into a trailer park, not to the entrance to the state park--keep driving till you see the sign.

It’s secluded and nice with water and electricity. We stayed for one night in late August.
It was nice and could have used a little more caring to keep it clean.
Price is very affordable. You pay with check or cash in a drop box at the entrance of the park. Overall I give it three and a half out of five stars.
