“learn about wildlife firsthand”
The Zoo’s goal is to provide the opportunity for everyone to experience first-hand the diversity that exists in the natural world and to promote a sense of stewardship and wonder about life. We believe this is possible through repeated, positive experiences with living things in a relaxed, enjoyable, and safe environment.
This place was great! They built all of the exhibits with children in mind. The fences were either low or clear so you didn't have to keep picking them up. You can get great views! Not the biggest zoo or the most exotic but we kind of liked it that way. Our kids are a 2 hour max zoo crew so this was absolutely the perfect size! If we are ever in Lincoln again this will definitely be on the top of our list of things to do!
