The Rialto Square Theatre is a theater in the Joliet, Illinois (U.S.) suburb of Chicago. Opening in 1926, it was originally designed and operated as a vaudeville movie palace, but it now houses mainly musicals, plays, concerts, and standup comedy. It is also available for public and private functions. Designed in the Neo-Baroque style, it is considered one of "150 great places in Illinois" by the American Institute of Architects. The Rialto Square Theatre is considered one of the 10 most beautiful theatres in the nation. Not sure how we had never been to the Rialto before, It was a bit of a drive for us but well worth it. It is very easy to get to and there is parking nearby. The theatre is beautifully restored... Read more

It's an old venue but beautifully designed. Went to see a comedian and sat in the first row of the balcony for a great view of the entire show. Read more
