“Towering over Hot Springs national park”
Hot Springs Mountain Tower is a 65.8 metre high observation tower built of lattice steel on Hot Springs Mountain at Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA. Hot Springs Mountain Tower was built in 1983. The tower was not the first to be built on the mountain. In the nineteenth century, a 75-foot wooden fire tower was constructed on the site.
It was a beautiful drive... We arrived at 4:20pm...the tower closes at "5:00pm". Upon arrival; the sign on the door said they closed early because it was slow. The employees were walking around inside the gift shop talking and trying to ignore me. It is super disappointing. We are only here one day so it was a wasted trip.
Beautiful view. Please note this tower is a for profit facility and charge you to use the tower. Once upstairs many of the observation tools are broken or missing pieces. Not well maintained, still, a beautiful view.
Awesome views on a beautiful day! Very windy......wouldnt advise wearing a dress on this stop. Decent gift shop on the ground floor, worth the drive.
Not my favorite national park facility but kinda cool. The tower could use a little work here and there. Still worth the drive up the hill from the fountains.
Observation tower. Allows a beautiful view of the area.
One of a kind view! Beautiful!
Good views, decent quick stop. Pretty good items in the gift shop
Well worth the trip. We walked from the bottom of the hill and walked the stairs up. It was a very nice view. We enjoyed it a lot.
Beautiful drive to the top of the mountain and a beautiful view from the top of the tower!
