“Recreation of a 1930 Sinclair gas station”
Here you will find a wealth of information for the Route 66 roadie, by proprietor Gary Turner, Sharing his knowledge of the mother road with all who share their love for the road. Recreation of a 1930 Sinclair gas station, taking you for a journey in time. The site includes a replica station, along with original pumps and other memorabilia from the heyday of Route 66.
IS OPEN, The now owner George is super sweet and has refreshments for anyone! You can “Poke around” as he said and take pictures. I would 100% go again.
This man is a must meet on route 66. No way to describe him. Let's just say we just wanted to take a picture of his gas station and stayed for almost two hours.
One of the offbeat attractions that I weirdly enjoyed. We met the owner, Gary. He was so full of information about route 66. He was such a sweetheart. It was pretty nice that we could definitely feel that he has so much love for the road. He is also very knowledgeable about the things the you can do in the surrounding areas. You can buy shirts from his shop, too. Definitely one happy place.
the friendliness gentleman on route 66...he'll give you a soda and great conversation!!!
The owners were very friendly. So much to see! You really get the old Route 66 feel from being there. This is a must see if you are on RT 66
Very much OPEN! George and Barbara are awesome hosts. Walk the grounds, check out the memorabilia.. buy a T-shirt! Great stop on an underrated section of 66.
Stopped to have a photo opp and the owner came out to talk with us and give us a tour. Super nice, clean and cool memorabilia.. A must see!
We visited here in August 2018 and loved it. The owners were so sweet and inviting. They were holding a picnic with the local church to raise funds for some needed improvement for the church. Great vintage items to look at, great food from the parishioners that day. It would be great to go back. The owners truly love the garage and home/land and you can tell.
Best Route 66 stop by far! This is what I've been looking for. Stopped by so many locations on this trip and this is what I wanted to see. So stop by and talk to George. Plan on being here for at least an hour, there is so much to see.
A must stop on Route 66! George has nothing but a smile and great conversation for you. He will tell you all about the property and how it came to be. Great photo ops and cute little gift shop. Will definitely stop by again!
