“an awe-inspiring waterfall”

Located just a few minutes from Old Québec, the Parc de la Chute-Montmorency is an attraction you will not want to pass up. The waterfall is an awe-inspiring 83 m/272', a full one and a half times higher than Niagara Falls. You can admire stunning views from the cable car, from the many lookout points throughout the site or from the stairs climbing up the side of the promontory. At the top of the cliff sits the elegant Manoir Montmorency, which houses a fine dining restaurant, the Kent House Café bistro, a gift shop and an interpretation centre. Open year-round.

Higher than Niagara Falls, and just a few miles outside Quebec City, Montmorency Falls are a sight to behold. During winter the lake freezes and becomes packed with snow, creating several incredible vantage points. But our favorite is the huge snow mound built in front of the falls.
Brave souls venture up the mound for an insane view and then either sled, snowshoe or ski down (but if you’re like me, you’ll probably just tumble down ungracefully and sprain, like, everything). If you’re feeling super adventurous you could always try your hand at some light waterfall ice-climbing…

This place is incredible. You can do the hike, take the bridge, or book a zipline or via ferrata tour (like rock climbing but a little easier). Oh, there's na aerial tram too. Plus restaurants and a gift shop. It's equally awesome in both summer and winter!

Beautiful place. I saw it in winter and spring and every time I enjoyed it.
