“Museum of the Hooked Rug”
Visit Les Trois Pignons for a special view into Acadian culture and the history of Chéticamp, a stunning collection of hooked rugs and antiquities, genealogy resource centre and library, and a full range of visitor information services. The small fishing community is situated on the Cabot Trail, and just outside the western entrance to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The Acadian Region of Chéticamp is caressed by the Appalachian mountain range on the south-east side, and the Gulf of Saint Lawrence on the north-west.
