“in gros morne”
The water is shallow and warms up to swimming temperature in the summer. The northern more remote part of the beach is backed by high dunes, and can receive impressive waves after a storm. The area attracts shorebirds, especially in the fall, there can be hundreds of migrating shorebirds clustered on the upper beach at high tide.
