“Canada's Longest walking Suspension Bridge”
Traverse Canada's longest suspension bridge, a 604 foot span across the unpredictable waters of the Souris river. First built in 1904, this bridge has become a symbol of the community and attracts thousands of visitors worldwide each year.
June 2019. We went up and walk the bridge and met a couple of locals. The bridge that is here now is a replacement that is very well done. A small portion of the original is still to be seen but it was wiped out in the flood I believe in 2011.
