It's a beautiful bridge, really nice to walk over especially at night when there's some peace and quiet. It's 2.7 miles so it's actually a really nice distance to jog!
As a Charleston resident of 15 years, I never get tired of Charleston' s beauty. Walking the bridge is a great way to see it...and is a native favorite. There is a great pier and park underneath.
This bridge reminds me of the one in Savannah, GA, but I like this one a bit better. We drove from Charleston to Mt. Pleasant where we stayed in our hotel. There is a walking/jogging path to the right, which seemed to be very popular.
Gorgeous bridge! A lot of people don't realize how long and steep it is, but there's benches along the way. Bring water! It's hot but there's usually a nice breeze.
