Let's get this out of the way: Kevin Costner owns this place. It's going to be the first thing you notice when you visit. There's pictures of him on the walls, Costner movie memorabilia all over the place, and they might as well just greet you by saying, "welcome to Kevin Costner's The Midnight Star."

It's a little weird.

Once you get over that, it's a really nice place with good food, decent gambling options, and a great bar. Do yourself a favor and follow the stairs - they'll take you to the second floor where a nice secluded area exists, far removed from some of the shitshows in the rest of the town.

We were so not expecting that this place would be screaming so much Kevin Costner. We walked through the casino, and boy, Kevin Costner items were just all over the place. There was a huge selection of slot machines and there were so much in store for those who would want to try their hand at putting some money on some games. Unfortunately, we only had a few time with us so we were not able to try gambling. Instead, we just dined at the last floor. Diamond Lil's is located atop the Midnight Star. We had the portabello mushroom sandwich and the chicken strips. Both were fairly delicious but nothing to rave about. They were more of ordinary than special to me. Wait staff were friendly but the service was quite slow.
