Both the pond and the park were used heavily by early television production companies in the 50’s and 60’s as a close and cheap way of shooting on location in a wooded area. This meant a massive amount of TV’s most classic programs were shot here including Lassie, The Brandy Bunch, Star Trek, and Bonzana. You can go re-live some of your favorite scenes for yourself!!
