  2. Nicky’s Pub, formerly known as State Street Tavern, is one of the more “erie” watering holes in the area. Apparently lost spirits were awaken during renovations of the building, and they now happily hang out with the crowd at Nicky’s.
  3. The Harley Davidson of Erie showcases hundreds of models of Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
  4. Erie is known as the "Flagship City" because of its status as the home port of Oliver Hazard Perry's flagship Niagara.
  5. Erie has been the location for many movies, including the hometown for fictional band "The Wonders" in That Thing You Do. featuring Tom Hanks.
